The KUPO C-Type Quick Release Hook (C-05Qp) is made of high-strength aluminum alloy using die-casting technology, making it extremely sturdy and durable. With a weight of only 0.48 kg, this hook can support a weight of up to 40 kg and is suitable for pipe diameters ranging from 30 to 51 mm. It comes with a 17mm female receiver and a 3/8”-16 bolt for easy assembly of lighting fixtures. The Y-shaped locking knob allows for easy adjustment of the lighting angle, and the top of the locking screw has a rotating pad to protect the pipe from damage. The unique safety spring pin allows for quick installation and removal of lighting fixtures, making installation faster and more convenient. This hook is particularly suitable for use in studios, theaters, and photography lighting equipment.
Note: When using c-clamps care must be taken to not over-tighten the pipe bolt which affixes the clamp to the batten. If this bolt is over-tightened, it can easily dimple or “drill” into the batten, seriously compromising the strength of the batten. A finger tight plus half turn with the wrench is all that is required.
