KUPO Cast Iron C-Type Quick Release Hook (C-01QB) is made of high-strength cast iron, which is very sturdy and durable. This hook can bear a load of up to 40kg, and it weighs only 0.64kg. It is suitable for pipes with a diameter of 30-51mm, and it comes with a 17mm female connector and a 3/8"-16 bolt fixing tip, making it easy to assemble lighting fixtures. The Y-shaped fixing knob allows users to easily fix and adjust the angle of the light, and the rotating pad at the top of the fixing screw provides better protection to prevent damage to the pipe. The unique safety spring pin makes installation of the lighting fixture quick and easy, saving time and effort. This hook is especially suitable for use in studios, theaters, photography studios, and other similar applications.
Note: When using c-clamps care must be taken to not over-tighten the pipe bolt which affixes the clamp to the batten. If this bolt is over-tightened, it can easily dimple or “drill” into the batten, seriously compromising the strength of the batten. A finger tight plus half turn with the wrench is all that is required.
