The KUPO cast iron C-type hook (C-01B) is made from high-strength cast iron and is very sturdy and durable. This hook can support a weight of up to 40 kilograms and weighs only 0.64 kilograms. It is suitable for pipe diameters of 30-51mm and comes with a 17mm female interface and a 3/8"-16 bolt fixing tail, making it easy to assemble with lighting fixtures. The Y-shaped fixing knob makes it easy to fix and adjust the angle of the light, and the top of the fixing screw has a rotating pad that provides better protection and prevents damage to the pipe. It is especially suitable for use in studios, theaters, photography studios, and other lighting fixtures.
Note: When using c-clamps care must be taken to not over-tighten the pipe bolt which affixes the clamp to the batten. If this bolt is over-tightened, it can easily dimple or “drill” into the batten, seriously compromising the strength of the batten. A finger tight plus half turn with the wrench is all that is required.
